Mudding and taping are essential steps in the drywall finishing process. After drywall sheets are installed, these techniques are used to hide seams, joints, and screw holes — creating a smooth, even surface ready for painting or wallpaper.
At RADLIN TECH, we take pride in delivering clean, professional finishes using quality materials and expert techniques.
Drywall tape is applied over all seams between drywall sheets.
We use paper or fiberglass mesh tape, depending on the job.
The tape helps prevent cracks and strengthens the joint.
A thin layer of mud is applied over the tape and screw holes.
We feather the edges to blend the mud smoothly into the wall.
This coat is left to dry completely before the next step.
A wider, smoother coat of mud is applied over the first layer.
We cover corners, seams, and any visible imperfections.
Again, we allow full drying time to prevent cracking.
A third and final coat is applied for a perfectly smooth finish.
It’s spread wide and feathered out to hide all lines and bumps.
Once dry, we lightly sand the surface to a flawless, smooth texture.
Dust is cleaned, and the wall is ready for priming or painting.
